In the latest update, India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecasts, light rain or drizzle is expected to persist in the city throughout the day on Friday as well. On Thursday, rain lashed numerous areas of Delhi during the morning.
For the national capital through Saturday, July 8, the agency has issued a ‘yellow’ alert warning for moderate rain and thunderstorms mixed with gusty winds.

Notably, the people in the capital were witnessing a warm and humid day with light to moderate rains in various parts on Wednesday.
Apart from this, heavy rainfall is expected in multiple regions over the next 5 Days. IMD in its notification has alerted people to take all the necessary precautions.
