Heavy rains continuous to create chaos in Himachal Pradesh, leading to the death of 30 people and causing damage between ₹3,000 and ₹4,000 crore. According to the sources, Shimla has recorded the highest number of casualties leaving 11 dead. 29 out of 30 dead have been identified so far.After landslides brought on by rain blocked access to the areas, more than 500 visitors are stranded in Chandertal, Pagal Nallah, and other locations in Lahaul and Spiti. Officials claim that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) saved 515 labourers who were trapped in a flooded slum in the Una area.IMD issues Red alertThe India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Tuesday, issued Red and Orange alerts for several districts of the hill state for the next 24 hours.“A red alert has been issued for very heavy rainfall in Solan, Shimla, Sirmaur, Kullu, Mandi, Kinnaur, and Lahaul for the next 24 hours. Additionally, an orange alert has been issued in Una, Hamirpur, Kangra, and Chamba.
