In Haryana, an earthquake of magnitude 3.0 on the Ritcher scale struck Haryana in the wee hours of Sunday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). It was the strongest among a series of consecutive quakes that struck the country.Previous earthquakesEarlier, on October 15, an earthquake of 3.1 magnitude struck Haryanas Faridabad whose tremors were felt in the Delhi-NCR region.Before that, strong tremors were felt in several parts of northern India, including Delhi and its surrounding areas on October 3, after a series of earthquakes jolted Nepal in a matter of a few hours. The strongest one measured 6.2 on the Richter scale.
