Interestingly, Ghol fish is used to make beer and wine and its air bladder is used in pharmaceuticals.If you are a fish lover, then the meat and air bladder of the Ghol fish are sold separately, with the air bladder being exported from Mumbai.Ghol fish costs...The length of the Ghol fish is just around one-and-a-half metres. The longer the Ghol fish, the higher its price.Here comes the shocking thing which will blow your mind, as Ghol fish per unit length can go up to Rs 5 lakh. So, if a fisherman catches Ghol fish, then he is lucky to earn millions annually.During the two-day event in Ahmedabad, Central Minister Parsottam Rupala said that some time ago, the governments of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh also declared their respective state fish through a program organized by the Fisheries Department.
