Good news! CM Kejriwal announces bonus for Delhi govt employees

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi on Monday announced ₹7,000 bonus to all Group B non-gazetted and Group C employees of the government. The announcement has come ahead of the upcoming festive season.

While addressing a press conference on Monday, November 6, 2023, he said, “All the employees of the Delhi government are my family. In this festive month, we are giving a bonus of Rs 7000 to Group B and Group C employees of the Delhi Government. Happy Diwali in advance to all the employees and their families.”

According to the notification, a total of ₹56 crores will be spent to provide the bonus. It is to be noted here that there are around 80,000 Group B non-gazetted and Group C employees working currently with the Delhi government.

Kejriwal, further said that his government has always endeavoured to make life better for its employees and people of Delhi and that such efforts will continue in the future as well. He also extended them the wishes for Diwali.
