Update (July 11, 12:44 pm): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday expressed his grief to the families of those who died in a collision between a school bus and a car on the Delhi Meerut Expressway.

“The Chief Minister has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the road accident. Wishing peace to the departed souls, the CM has expressed condolences to the bereaved family members,” said the CMO’s office.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has directed the district administration officials to provide proper treatment to the injured and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured, the statement added.

According to the update, the collision between a school bus and a car on the Delhi Meerut Expressway claimed six lives on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, the school bus was empty and was reportedly coming from the wrong direction.


Ghaziabad: Bus-SUV crash on Delhi-Meerut Expressway, 5 killed

Early this morning, two vehicles collided on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway near Rahul Vihar. According to the officials, five people were killed after a SUV collided with a bus on Delhi-Meerut Expressway in Ghaziabad.

As per reports, the dead bodies were removed after cutting the car doors.
