A Bokaro court in Jharkhand has sentenced a man to 15 years in jail for raping a 23-year-old woman, who become friends with him following an accidentally missed call on his phone.Additional Sessions Judge Yogesh Kumar sentenced the man, a resident of Arwalin Bihar, to 15 years of rigorous jail for the woman in 2021.According to Special Public Prosecutor Rakesh Kumar Rai, the court also fined him ₹25,000.What happened to womanAfter receiving an accidentally missed call from the woman, the accused man used to call her regularly and eventually, they became friends. One day, he came to Bokaro to meet the woman, the prosecutor said.They met at a hotel in Bokaro, and there he mixed drugs in her food, following which she fell unconscious and he raped her on camera.Then, the accused started blackmailing her with the video, asking her to have physical relations with him regularly. Upset with this, she filed a complaint at the Chas womens police station, Rakesh Kumar Rai said.
