A meeting of Divyang Bandhu was held in Bindki Tehsil, Fatehpur. By cutting the ribbon, the meeting was inaugurated by former Minister Amarjit (public servant) and Deputy Collector Bindki. In the meeting, Deputy Collector Preeti Verma announced that a survey would be conducted in every gram panchayat to identify disabled people who will be benefited from the government’s scheme. She also said that the disabled champions would be given training at the block level to reach the authorities after listening to the problems of the disabled.

Identification of Disabled People and Training

The entire event was organized under the chairmanship of the Deputy Collector, and it was aimed at resolving the problems faced by the Divyang people. The disabled people will be identified by surveying every gram panchayat, and they will be benefited from the government’s scheme. The training will be provided to the disabled champions at the block level, and they will be responsible for reaching the authorities after listening to the problems of the disabled. The champions will also train other colleagues after receiving the training.

Instructions by the District Magistrate

The District Magistrate instructed to hold this meeting so that disabled people do not have to come to the district headquarters with their problems. Now the problems will be resolved by the concerned officials at the Tehsil level.

In the meeting, Amarjit (public servant), Block Development Officer Amauli, Block Development Officer Khajuha, Naib Tehsildar Vijay Tiwari, District Divyangjan Empowerment Officer, and other officials were present. The Divyangs present in the meeting were happy to be named Divyang Champion.
