A robbery case registered in 2016 in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, has taken a twist after discovering that the lawyer representing the robbers was fake. The case involved Robin Das and Arjun Das, residents of Orissa, who were accused of robbery in the Hardoi district. 

However, when the court issued a warrant for their non-appearance, it was revealed that the landlords taking bail were fake, and the lawyer representing them was also affected.

Details of the Case

According to the CO City Vinod Kumar Dwivedi, the incident occurred on March 11, 2016, when Robin Das and Arjun Das were named in a robbery incident. The lawyer representing the case was named Ashok Kumar Dixit, a resident of Japra Thana Tadiawan. 

Meanwhile, Babu, a resident of Nevada Lonar, and Ashok were made landlords of Robin Das. Subedar, a Nanakganj Grunt Kotwali Dehat, and Shriram, an Ishwari Purva Majra Nanakganj Grunt resident, were made landlords of Arjun Das.

Fake Landlords and Lawyers

Upon continuous non-appearance, the court took action under NBW and Section 82/83. However, the landlords appointed in the case were kept secret. The Pradhan of Nanakganj Grunt also confirmed that no one named Subedar and Shriram had died on January 17, 2020. Furthermore, the bail of Ashok and Babu turned out to be fake. 

When authorities gathered information about a lawyer named Ashok Kumar Dixit, they found that the advocate by that name was not registered with the Bar Association.

The robbery case in the Hardoi district has revealed a shocking case of forgery, with fake landlords and a fake lawyer representing the accused.
