A massive fire broke out at a girls paying-guest hostel in Delhis Mukherjee Nagar in the late hours on Wednesday evening. According to the sources, at least 35 girls have been evacuated safely who were stuck inside the building.As per officials, the fire broke out at around 5:45 PM on Wednesday. At least 20 fire tenders were rushed to the incident spot to douse the fire and carried on the rescue operations. Fire has been doused and there is no injury to anyone. It seems that the fire started from a meter board installed near the staircase and spread to the upper floors. The situation is under control and a cooling operation is underway.”Apart from this, a fire incident has been reported from Delhis Nehru Nagar area on Thursday morning. No casualties reported.
