Furious residents requested that the leopard be promptly confined after they were transported to the hospital for treatment. To lure the animal, forest officials set up a cage with bait, but their efforts were worthless, and they failed to trick the leopard. Soon the cage was moved to Hirakheri village after people alerted forest officials about the animals whereabouts, but the leopard never materialised its presence.Locals speak Farmers claim that they are afraid to work in the fields. These district forest officials have urged residents to use a flashlight when walking to the pitch at night and to avoid traveling to their fields alone. They have been instructed to go into the field in groups, carry a wooden staff, and report any sightings of the animal to the forest authority.Authorities conveyed that leopards are on the move in the region as they find a sugarcane crop a good hideout for them. In a bid to secure their space, they attack people.
