Exit not permitted from Delhi's Rajiv Chowk Metro on December 31 after 9 pm and other closed locations listed

Commuters are advised to adjust their route according to the issued restriction of Delhi's Rajiv Chowk Metro station's exit being closed post 9 PM on December 31.

DMRC has announced that exiting from the Delhi's Rajiv Chowk Metro station will not be allowed after 9pm on new year's eve, December 31. However, there is no restriction on entering the station.

Delhi Police's Traffic Advisory 

Special Commissioner of Police (CP) (Traffic),  SS Yadav has reported that on December 31, the Police department will ensure deployment of personnel at locations that are predicted to become crowded. In a press conference SS Yadav forwarded Special CP (Traffic)'s message stating, "The deployment will be at locations like Connaught Place, India Gate, Aerocity, Qutub Minar, Greater Kailash, Saket Mall, Netaji Subhash Place, Mukherjee Nagar area, Vasant Kunj Mall, EDM Mall, Pacific Mall, Champa Gali, Hudson lane, Hauz Khas and other crowded places. Traffic will controlled in the Connaught Place area after 8 pm."

Those planning to travel to the locations mentioned above should change their plans as required.
