DRDO’s unmanned UAV crashed in Karnataka, no casualties

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) belonging to the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) crashed during a trial in an agriculture field in Chitradurga district of Karnataka earlier today.

According to the officials, the vehicle has been identified as TAPAS 07 A-14, which inclined outside Vaddikere village in Hiriyur taluk during a test flight.

The video of the craft shoes that it got totally broken with all the fitted equipment scattered on the ground. soon after the localities heard the loud blast, they informed the authorities about the incident.  

As per officials, the reason for the crash is not identified yet. DRDO will carry out an inquiry to find out the reason for the mishap.
