Aam Aadmi Party’s leader Sanjay Singh lashed out at Union Minister Amit Shah for his alleged remarks of forged signatures of senior AAP leader Raghav Chadha on the proposal of sending Chadha’s name to the Committee of Privileges, he said, “Don’t you know that no one’s signature is required to select the name in the committee?”

Quoting this in a video clip, Singh mentioned, “The Home Minister was furious in the House, said “Send the name of @raghav_chadha to the Committee of Privileges” Don’t you know that no one’s signature is required to propose the name in the Select Committee? Do not spread lies and rumours, Home Minister.”

Amit Shah is now after Raghav Chadha: Sanjay Singh

In addition to this, Sanjay Singh also stated that “Amit Shah is now after AAP MP Raghav Chadha. Just like they had taken away the membership of Rahul Gandhi by making a false case against him, they now want to take away the membership of Raghav Chadha as well. These are dangerous people. But we, the soldiers of AAP are not afraid. If they take away the membership of Raghav Chadda, then Raghav will be re-elected. Will continue our fight against them.”

Notably, Sanjay Singh was suspended from Rajya Sabha for the remaining Parliament monsoon session for his ‘unruly behaviour’. Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankhar took the call during the ruckus in the house. The opposition has been demanding a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Manipur violence.

Here’s what Saurabh Bhardwaj said

Referring to the ‘forged signature’ statement of Raghav Chadha by Union Minister Amit Shah during the Parliament session, AAP minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “The way of saying in Parliament that Raghav Chadha has forged his signature is a blatant lie. The signature of any Member of Parliament is not required on this motion, nor was there any signature on it. Knowing this, the ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party told a lie in the Parliament. A lie about the system of the Parliament was told to the whole country.”

Adding to this, Bhardwaj also said, “This is a very significant and severe issue of privilege in and of itself. Second, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Home Minister are so furious with Raghav over the way Rahul Gandhi’s membership was terminated that they are attempting to do the same with his.”

He said, “It is a matter of sorrow that these individuals are so strong and that they are conspirators, but I want to assure them that even if you revoke the membership, Raghav will be re-elected and continue to represent the interests of the people in the Parliament.
