In Chitrakoot District Jail, an alleged case of violation of rules has come to light, with the authorities facing criticism for allowing MLA Abbas Ansaris wife and driver to meet him in jail. Many materials, including a mobile phone, have been confiscated from her possession, and the items are being investigated.Chandrakalas role is reportedly suspicious in allowing the MLAs wife to visit the prison. According to reports, the deputy jailer quickly contacted Nikhat Bano, being a woman, and her visits to the jail started. It is alleged that the deputy jailor was given significant money and gifts in exchange for facilitating the visits.Investigation and InquiriesThe jail authorities are currently under investigation for their alleged involvement in allowing unauthorised prisoner visits. In addition to Chandrakala, eight other jail employees have been named in the FIR. Whether these jail officials received any gifts or money for facilitating the unauthorised visits is being verified.The SP of the region, Vrinda Shukla, stated that several teams of police personnel raided several districts in Uttar Pradesh on February 26 to investigate the jail episode. During the investigation, Chandrakalas role was found to be suspicious, resulting in her arrest and transfer to Lucknow jail.Chandrakala, who is Abbas Ansaris wifes driver, has been arrested and sent to Lucknow jail, and she has been charged with the same sections as the other eight officers.
