A tragic accident took place on Thursday along the Delhi-Meerut Expressway when a bus, carrying 20 passengers tragically veered off the road and crashed into a ditch below.CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced on the internet, capturing the heart-wrenching moment when the Ghaziabad roadways bus abruptly swerved to the left, breaking through the crash barrier and falling off the highway.Initial reports suggest that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, leading to this accident. I woke up and realized that I had been injured and that the bus had careened off the highway. I dont recall the exact sequence of events, but fellow passengers are claiming that the driver fell asleep at the wheel, resulting in this tragic accident,” as reported by etvbharat.It is worth noting that same road witnessed another fatal incident last month when a 23-year-old man and his mother lost their lives after a collision with a truck while riding a motorcycle. The mother-son duo was en route from Muzaffarnagar to Delhi when the unfortunate accident occurred.
