Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to participate in the 'Veer Bal Diwas' event today (December 26) at 10:30 am in New Delhi's Bharat Mandapam. He will also flag off a march by youth in the national capital.
The government is organising awareness programmes nationwide to inform citizens, especially children, about the courageous story of the Sahibzade martyrs.
Digital exhibits detailing the life and sacrifice of the Sahibzades will be displayed in schools and childcare centres across the country. A film on 'Veer Baal Diwas' will also be screened countrywide.
Online competitions like quizzes will be held through portals like MYBharat and MyGov to engage the youth.

In January 2022, PM Modi announced that December 26 will be observed as 'Veer Bal Diwas'. It marks the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh's young sons Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh.
