Delhi Excise Policy Case: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has once again summoned Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, for questioning in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy matter. Kejriwal has been asked to appear before the ED on December 21.

Notably, as per the schedule, Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to attend INDIA bloc meeting tomorrow and then leave for 10 days of Vipasna programme.

Previous Notice and CBI Interrogation

This is not the first time Kejriwal has been under ED scrutiny. Earlier, on November 2, the agency issued a notice related to the Delhi liquor scam. Kejriwal had previously faced a nine-hour questioning session by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on April 16 of this year.

AAP Leaders Facing Legal Actions

Two prominent AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, find themselves entangled in legal troubles over alleged money laundering in the Delhi liquor scam. The ED had arrested AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh on October 4, following his earlier arrest by the CBI on February 26 in the same case. Manish Sisodia, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, resigned from his post, and in the chargesheet filed by the ED, he is implicated as a key conspirator.

This latest development adds to the ongoing legal challenges faced by AAP leaders, creating significant ramifications for the party.
