Delhi government has set up a committee to probe in to sexual assault case of two minor boys. According to the sources, Commission for Women (DCW) Chief Swati Maliwal on Monday has issued notices to the Delhi Police and Directorate of Education in the alleged sexual assault case of two minor boys in a government school.

As per officials, the school staff has been warned on the issue and has been told that a strict action will take against if they don’t bring the details to the notice of higher authorities.

An official statement says, “It is terrible that such a reprehensible occurrence apparently occurred during the school’s summer camp. An extensive investigation of the matter is currently being conducted by an inquiry committee. Let the legal process play out as it should. We can guarantee that the Delhi Government would act quickly and strictly in this subject.” “We want to establish the benchmark for education in the nation, which includes student character development,” it further stated.

Sources claim that DCW has requested a thorough report on the issue’s course of action from the Delhi Police and Directorate of Education by September 1, 2023.
