Light rainfall might be in play for the weather around the Delhi-NCR belt post the heat waves with the minimum temperature in the city settling at 29 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) published data showing that the relative humidity was 76%. A typically cloudy sky with light rain later in the day is what the IMD has predicted.

Saharanpur, Shamli, Sahaswan, Ganjdundwara, Jalesar, Etah, Tundla, Agra, Firozabad, Shikohabad, Jajau (UP), Laxmangarh, Rajgarh, Mahawa, and Dholpur (Rajasthan) were among the other places the meteorological service forecast will continue to see moderate rainfall or drizzle.

The cumulative precipitation this year has already equaled the annual limit of 774 mm (about 2.54 ft), and Delhi has seen above-average rainfall over the last four months. The amount of rain that has been observed in August of this year, however, has mostly been below average, with the total for the month being 85% below average.

The monsoon trough is now getting closer to the Delhi-NCR area. As a result, certain areas could get rain. In Gurugram, there will likely be only a little rain.

Drops and clouds are speculated on August 23. This will end up dropping the temperature as high as 33 degrees Celsius. It will be 26 degrees at its highest.

The highest daytime temperature for August in the past four years was recorded in the Capital on Monday, which was extremely high. The temperature at Safdarjung, the base weather station, reached 38.1 °C, which was four degrees Celsius more than usual for this time of year. Furthermore, it exceeded Sunday’s temperature of 36.8°C.
