A minor has been detained by Delhi Police for murdering a 28-year-old private tutor in the Jamia Nagar area. The police have said that the minor had claimed killed his tutor, identified as Waseem, as the latter had been sexually assaulting him for some time.He further claimed that Waseem had also made videos of the act and used them to blackmail him.Delhi Police detains minor for killing his tutor in Jamia NagarOn August 30, Delhi Police found Waseems body after receiving a call. His body had deep-cut injuries on his neck. Reportedly, the property where his body was found was Waseems fathers and had been vacant for a while. The deceased was residing with his family in South Delhis Zakir Nagar.Following the investigation, a case of murder was lodged at Jamia Nagar police station and the probe was conducted.Why did minor kill WaseemAccording to the police, Waseem had sexually assaulted the minor several times.“The deceased had made a video of the juvenile and threatened him to release the video on social media if he did not oblige him. On August 30, Waseem had called the juvenile for sexually assaulting him at around 11.30 am,” the police statement said.The minor was fed up with his repeated assault and then killed his tutor Waseem with a sharp paper cutter. Waseems mobile phone, clothes and shoes worn by the minor at the time of the incident have also been recovered from the minor.
