In a latest development of the Delhi minor rape case, where a teen was allegedly raped by a Delhi government official, now the accused underwent a potency test. The accused official has been arrested by Delhi Police and also been sacked from his post.

Accused Khakha goes potency test

Notably, a potency test is conducted in a criminal case of sexual assault or rape by a certified urologist to establish whether the accused is capable of engaging in sexual acts or not.

Premoday Khakha, the accused and his wife Seema Rani were presented before a Delhi court on Tuesday. The duo then was sent to one-day judicial custody.

Delhi official undergone vasectomy: Accused’s lawyer

The attorney of the accused couple has claimed the allegations against Khakha are baseless, adding he had undergone a vasectomy.

He also claimed that Premoday Khakha had a vasectomy done 20 years ago and therefore there was no chance of the minor girl getting pregnant.

Meanwhile, the rape survivor informed the police that the accused official used to harass her in a church as well. Reportedly, he held the post of deputy secretary at the same church.
