Delhi man, son found dead with slit throats inside dhaba, servant missing from spot

According to Delhi Police, they found father-son duo lying in pool of blood with their throats slit. A case has been filed regarding same.

In Delhi, a man and his son were found dead at a dhaba he ran at Gali No. 06, Arakasha Raod, opposite Woodland Hotel in the Nabi Karim area of the national capital on Saturday, said the police.

According to the police, the deceased were identified as Anuj and his son Ranuak. They received a PCR call at 02:45 pm informing them about the incident.

Upon reaching the incident spot, the police found the dhaba locked from the incident.

On entering the dhaba, they found Anuj and Raunak lying in a pool of blood with their throats slit.

Official statements

"According to preliminary investigation, a servant, who was hired by Anuj recently, has emerged as the prime suspect. The servant is missing. A forensic/crime team inspected the crime scene. Necessary legal action is being initiated. Several teams have been formed and entrusted with specific responsibilities in the case," an officer said.

A case has been lodged under relevant sections of the IPC (Indian Penal Code).

Further, the investigation is underway and more details are awaited, said the police.
