To curb the pollution during winter season, the chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal will be releasing the action plan on October 1. According to the official statement, the ‘Winter Action Plan’ will be shared after discussing the points with the experts to curb the high level of pollution that engulfs national capital every year during winter season.

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Thursday held a meeting with experts following the same and said that the government has decided to prepare a Winter Action Plan, which will be released by chief minister of Delhi on October 1.

Taking it to his Twitter account, the minister Gopal Rai said, “A high level joint meeting was held today in Delhi Secretariat to prepare ‘Winter Action Plan’ against pollution. In which officials from all concerned departments participated. On October 1, Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal will announce the Winter Action Plan.”

According to the sources, the action plan will be based on 15 points:

The 15 points that have been identified as – hot spots, stubble pollution, vehicular pollution, open garbage burning, industrial pollution, green war room, real-time apportionment study, a complete ban on firecrackers & various others. Minister Gopal Rai also informed that the government has directed the officials to submit their plans by September 25.
