Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on one-day visit to Raipur, Chhattisgarh on Sunday to address the people ahead of assembly polls and to boost the partys preparations for the upcoming polls this year. Arvind Kejriwal was accompanying the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann. Duo addressed the people of Raipur in a rally. In year 2018, Aam Aadmi Party tried their luck in Chhattisgarh for the first time, contesting the 90 seats.In Punjab, a resounding victory has boosted the aspirations of the entire country. The visit of Arvind Kejriwal and top leaders and their interaction with the party workers will further strengthen the preparations for the upcoming Chhattisgarh polls. Prior to the Chhattisgarh visit, AAP in an official statement announced that they will be contesting all the 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh.During his visit, Kejriwal claimed that contest in Chhattisgarh will be between the ruling party and their party. He promised that people will have the rights to mines, forests and other natural resources of their party will come into power. While addressing, he said that BJP and Congress both the parties have wiped out from the state. And people have given chance to BJP and Congress both, now it is time to give chance to the third alternative, which have changed development scape in Delhi and Punjab.The chief minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak and AAP Chhattisgarh election-in charge Gopal Rai, party state in-charge Delhi MLA Sanjeev Jha and state convenor Komal Hupendi were also among, who attended the event. He also said that during the rule of opposition parties, both have looted the people of Chhattisgarh. Making remark on both the opposition parties, he added that there is no difference between them, only the face of the chief minister gets changed, but the lives of the people in Chhattisgarh is not changing.While addressing the rally gathered at the rally, the Delhi Chief minister said “Despite being blessed by God with everything, why poverty in Chhattisgarh is very high Leaders and political parties are not good here. Bhartiya Janta Party and Congress did not let anything in looting the state.”Lashing out at the opposition parties, Kejriwal said that prior to election, Congress had promised that they will make Adani run out of the state and he also questioned states Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on the same. “We dont have any relationship with Adani, and we come into power in the state, the people will get the benefits of forests also,” he added further.Praising the work of his party in Delhi and Punjab, he said that prior to their rule, there were several mafias in states, but after they came into power, the mafias were eliminated and made an appeal to people to vote for them so they can eliminate the mafias there also.Manish Sisodia, a former deputy chief minister of Delhi and a prominent member of the AAP, was recently detained in connection with a Delhi excise policy case. He defended Sisodia, calling him a saint and mahatma.While sounding the poll horn for the upcoming Assembly elections in the Congress-controlled state of Chhattisgarh, he also urged voters to consider the future of their children. Kejriwal while speaking at the rally said that “We have come to Chhattisgarh not to show our strength or raise false slogans or promises like Rs 15 lakh in every bank account. We have come to tell the truth. We dont know about Achhe din, but we know people in Punjab and Delhi have been witnessing Achche din(good days).” He also said that they will be eliminating the corruption in the state.
