Delhi’s overall air quality continues to remain in the ‘poor’ category for a third consecutive day on Saturday morning, according to SAFAR-India.

The System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR)-India has announced that the overall air quality of the national capital remains in the ‘poor’ category with an AQI of 286. The city’s air quality has been in the 'poor' category since Thursday.

On Wednesday, the air quality was recorded at the 'moderate' category with an AQI of 190 but has gone downhill since then. On Thursday and Friday, the AQI was 256 and 249 respectively.

AQI across Delhi-NCR

In the Delhi University area, the air quality was recorded as ‘very poor’ with an AQI of 316 while the Pusa region recorded ‘poor’ air quality with an AQI of 201.

Meanwhile, IIT Delhi region and Airport T3 also remained in the 'poor' category with an AQI of 276 and 293 respectively. The Mathura Road recorded 165 AQI, coming under the 'moderate' category.

Noida also fell under the ‘poor’ category of air quality with 255 AQI while Gurugram recorded an AQI of 200 and fell under the ‘moderate’ category.
