A tragic incident took place on GT Karnal road in Delhis Alipur area as two trucks collided, killing four people, and others left injured, according to the police.One of the buses was carrying kanwar yatris (pilgrims) to Haridwar, said the police. In the preliminary investigation, the police found that a truck approaching Delhi lost its control. Then, it crossed the road divided and hit another truck on its way to Haridwar.Around 20 pilgrims were travelling on the truck.Injured people were rushed to the hospitalAfter the accident, the police reached the spot of the tragedy. The injured people were rushed to a nearby hospital immediately for further treatment.In an official statement, the police said., “Total of 15 people were injured and 4 died on the spot.
