A Delhi man was rescued by Police on Friday who was trying to commit suicide on Instagram Live over a matrimonial dispute. The Police were quick to take action on this matter which ultimately saved the man’s life.

The police received an emergency call on September 22, Friday from an unknown man who alleged that his younger brother was trying to commit suicide on Instagram Live. The man said that his brother lived alone and needed instant help.

The police then traced the location of the call and after obtaining technical details, the team reached on the spot Chhota Thakur Dwara, Shahdara, Delhi. The 28-year-old man was promptly rescued. When the Police found him, they saw that he had injured himself using blades and he was immediately taken to hospital.

The man is involved in a matrimonial dispute and has two children. Further legal proceedings are underway,” the official added.
