Delhi: 24 school children hospitalised after gas leak in Naraina

At least 24 students of a municipal school have been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi‘s Naraina area who got fainted after inhaling harmful gas.

According to the sources, the gas leak had taken place at the near by area of Railway track. Officials confirmed that a team of doctors from MCD hospital and other officials from the education department have been looking into the case. The cause of gas leak is not known yet. Investigation is on.

Meanwhile, Vichitra Veer, the deputy commissioner of police (west), said that their team reached the spot soon after they received a PCR call about children vomiting in Nigam Pratibha Vidyalaya School.
