Further, they asserted that the police possessed phone call records and other evidence to support their case.Congress leader to produce before HC todayAmid his arrest, Mamman Khan will now be produced before the court today (September 15).Earlier, the Congress MLA was twice summoned by Nuh Police to appear before the investigation team. Still, he did not comply with the police summons, citing viral fever as the reason.According to his lawyer, Khan learned about the inclusion of his name as an accused in the FIR only on Thursday.In his petition to the Punjab and Haryana HC, Mamman Khan had also sought directions for the Haryana government to form a high-level Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising officers not below the rank of Inspector General of Police. He requested that cases related to the violence be transferred to the SIT, with the further direction that the SIT would work independently.
