Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a green signal to 77 tractors for farm machinery banks from his residence and congratulated farmers on the eve of Holi. He said that the sugarcane and sugar industry in the state is reaching new heights, and farmers are doing maximum work through green fuel Ethanol. With this initiative, farmers will not have to spend money on petrol and diesel, and the money will stay within the state, benefiting them.

Good news for sugarcane farmers

CM Yogi Adityanath expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the agriculture sector in the state, adding that farmers are now part of the government’s agenda, which has only been made possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state government has transferred Rs 51,000 crore to farmers in the last three years through PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi.

The chief minister emphasized that Uttar Pradesh is committed to becoming the top ethanol producer using renewable energy.

A note on the condition of farmers

CM Yogi Adityanath said that before 2014, the condition of farmers was poor, and the government often ignored them. However, the double-engine BJP government in the state is committed to ensuring the prosperity and well-being of farmers. He stated that no farmer cultivating sugarcane would be left behind in the future of Uttar Pradesh. He also said that the state government is committed to enhancing the film, artist, and talent industry in Uttar Pradesh, which will create more employment opportunities in the state.

The chief minister also mentioned the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sugar industry, which caused the production and distribution of sugar to halt worldwide. However, India continued to produce sugar, ensuring no shortage of this essential commodity.

The allocation of 77 tractors and farm machinery banks to sugarcane farmers by the Uttar Pradesh government is a major step towards ensuring the prosperity and well-being of farmers in the state. The government is purely and deeply committed to improving the lives of farmers by providing them with better facilities, schemes, and programs.

Conclusion

With the sugarcane industry growing rapidly, the state is on the path to becoming a top producer of ethanol for renewable energy use, creating more and better jobs and opportunities for the people of Uttar Pradesh.
