Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar flagged off the Cyclothon Cycle Yatra against drugs from NDRI Chowk in Karnal. The campaign is titled ‘Cyclothon for Drug-Free Haryana’. 

Chief Minister Manohar Lal announced that from now on, every Tuesday will be a car-free day in Karnal. All government officials will travel by bicycle every Tuesday.In addition to the BJP organisation’s officeholders, home guards also attended the Cyclothon Yatra.

Starting on May 5, Sant Kabir Kutir Saints initiated the de-addiction campaign in Haryana. The cycle tour will go to every district of the state for 25 days and will arrive in Karnal on September 25 after traveling through 22 of the state’s districts. On that day, this yatra will be finished in Karnal itself by Chief Minister Manohar Lal. The Chief Minister said that if I myself come to Karnal, I will travel by bicycle only on Tuesday.

The main goal of this yatra is to encourage young people to avoid using drugs.The rally’s participants will be provided with water and refreshments at a number of locations. A total of 3 lakh cyclists from all over the state will take part in this yatra.

Manohar Lal stated that the Haryana government, along with NGOs and organizations, is united against drug abuse. The state’s youth excel in sports, the military, and even space, with one in ten soldiers hailing from Haryana and young scientists contributing to Chandrayaan. Haryana’s youth shine in every field.
