Another horrific incident of rape has been reported from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur where a 6-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy.

According to the police officials, the accused, 14-year-old boy has been sent to police custody under Juvenile Justice Act.  

Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Lakhan Patle while speaking to ANI said, “A 14-year-old boy raped a 6-year-old girl under the Dharsinva police station limits. The boy is her neighbour. He has been arrested and action is being taken according to the Juvenile Justice Act. The girl is undergoing treatment and is out of danger.”

As per sources, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon when the accused took the minor girl to his home and allegedly sexually assaulted her. The minor girl complaint of pain and bleeding from her private parts to her mother, who then informed the police and took her to the hospital.

The case has been registered under several sections of Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act. The investigation in the case has been initiated. A similar horrific case of rape was reported a couple of days back from Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain, where a 12-year-old minor girl was gang raped. The incident surfaced on social media, which initiated outrage among people. However, police have detained four persons in connection with the case.
