Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the reported killing of a Dalit man in Madhya Pradeshs Sagar, alleging that the ruling party has transformed the state into a laboratory for perpetrating atrocities against the Dalit community.Kharge asserted that the BJP will not regain power in the upcoming assembly polls in the state due to the backlash it will face from the people in response to the atrocities against the deprived and exploited sections of society.Kharges comments came after an 18-year-old Dalit man was beaten to death in Madhya Pradeshs Sagar district. Media reports suggest that the attack was carried out by individuals who had been pressuring him to convince his sister to withdraw a sexual harassment case she had filed in 2019.Taking to social media, Kharge wrote in Hindi, “A Dalit youth was beaten to death in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh.
