According to the sources, Tejashwi Yadav is likely to skip the interrogation before the probe agency, due to ill health of his wife. Sources said that RJD leader’s wife Rajshree Yadav is pregnant and admitted in hospital after Enforcement Directorate visited their home yesterday. After prolonged 12 hours of interrogation, she fainted due to low BP and was admitted to a hospital in Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate team on Friday raided Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav in New Delhi. earlier, CBI also questioned the former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi in the land-for jobs case.

Enforcement Directorate has already raided 24 locations in Delhi, Ranchi, Patna and Mumbai, including Tejashwi’s home in Delhi. All locations were raided in connection with money laundering probe in land-for-jobs case. The raids were conducted at Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti, as well as RJD’s leader and former MLA Abu Dojna in Bihar.

A probe agency official said, “Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned Bihar deputy chief minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on March 11 in land-for-jobs case. This is the second summon issued to him, the first was on February 4.”

Reportedly, on March 7, Lalu Prasad Yadav was questioned for six hours in the case and Tejashwi is the third person in the family who will be questioned in this regard. On March 6, Rabri Devi was questioned by CBI at the Pandara Road residence in Delhi of her daughter and Rajya Sabha Misa Bharti, she was interrogated for 6 hours in the case.

Lalu Prasad is suffering from prolonged illness and kidney disease. He recently got the kidney transplant done from Singapore and recently back to Delhi, where he is being monitored by the health experts.

In a latest update, CBI officials had again issued a notice to Lalu Prasad and he will be soon questioned again in the case. In October last year, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed the chargesheet in the land-for-jobs case, which includes Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti and 13 others in the case.

According to the probe agencies, the land-for-jobs case, happened between 2004 and 2009, when Lalu Prasad as a Railway Minister had done conspiracy in the land purchase. The chargesheet say that the GM Central Railway, CPO Central Railways engaged themselves in the as substitute of land either in their name or their relatives name. The land was acquired at the lower than the prevailing rates and much lower than the circle rates. CBI also stated that the investigation had revealed that there was no requirement of the appointments but they were subsequently regularised. It is also been observed that the false attested documents have been submitted to Railway Ministry.

It is said that when Lalu Prasad served as railway minister, 12 irregular candidate appointments were made in the central railways, in violation of the recruitment policies and processes of the Indian Railways during 2004 to 2009. There was no public notice or advertisement issued for the appointment, still a few Patna people were given temporary positions in several zonal railroads in Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Hazipur.

And recently on February 27, Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi and 14 others in the case are summoned by the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi.
