Another horrific incident of live-in partner came in to notice from Karnatakas Bengaluru, where a 29-year-old man has been arrested for beating his live-in partner to death with a pressure cooker at their rented house.According to the police officials, the incident has taken place around 5 pm on Saturday when the duo was fighting after man was suspicious that his partner was cheating on him.Both of them have been identified as Vaishnav and Deva who hailed from Kerala, and had been living together in Bengaluru for about two years. They met each other during the college days and worked at a sales and marketing firm at Bengalurus Koramangala.During the interrogation, police found that accused has accepted that he attacked his girlfriend with a pressure cooker. The incident came into notice when victims sister could not reach her phone and contacted the neighbour for the same. Her neighbour then alerted the police about the incident. The neighbours also informed police that the duo quarrelled frequently.Meanwhile, CK Baba, deputy commissioner of Police for Bengaluru South-East division, said, “I met the womans parents when I visited the spot. They told me that the two had been fighting over the past several days. The family had also tried to sort out the issue.”According to the sources, the accused was not run but police have tracked him down and has been arrested. The case has been registered against Vaishnav and probe is on.
