Aam Aadmi Party leader and Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha lashed out at BJP at a press conference. Notably, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has been called for questioning in the Delhi excise duty case. Raghav Chadha compared BJP with Kansa and said that no other party in 75 years of independence has targeted like the BJP. Chadha also said that Kejriwal is the Mahatma Gandhi of today’s era.

Raghav Chadha also asserted that their party will work diligently towards making the country number 1. While comparing BJP with Kansa and Kejriwal as Krishna, Raghav Chadha stated that Kansa was aware that only Krishna could kill him. The BJP is aware that only Kejriwal can bring an end to the party. For this reason, the BJP is attempting to eliminate Kejriwal politically. Kansa, for instance, was unable to hurt Krishna. Even the BJP won’t be able to inflict Kejriwal in any way. The CBI notice against Arvind Kejriwal reflects the BJP’s apprehension and desperation. When praising Punjab, MP Raghav Chadha claimed that if Delhi’s excise policy was so poor, then the same alcohol policy had been followed in Punjab, which had led to a 40 percent rise in revenue. This demonstrates that the BJP’s aim, rather than its policy, was at fault, and that’s why they sent summons based on the available information.

Raghav Chadha, further stated that their party has emerged after encountering lathis, tear gas, and other forms of opposition. He further stated that as a political party that came out of the movement, they will not run in fear of search and seizure memo, searches, ED-CBI summonses, or detention facilities.
