After months of terror and tensions, the ban on the internet services got lifted on September 23 and just a couple of days later the photos of two missing students surfaced online. The two students, from Meitei community who went missing on July 6, reportedly have been killed, according to the sources.As per sources, this is one of the 11 cases of the violence in the northeastern state which is under investigation by Central Bureau of Investigation. However, the bodies of two are yet to be found.The photos that surfaced on internet show the two students from the Meitei community – Hijam Linthoingambi, 17, and Phijam Hemjit, 20, who seems to be sitting in some compound of an armed group. The picture shows two bodies lying on the ground.
