A class 10 student named Amarnath from Andhra Pradesh’s Bapatla district was horrifyingly burned alive by some unidentified individuals on Friday. He was on his way to the coaching centre when the attackers doused him in gasoline and set him ablaze. He was taken in serious condition and taken to a Government General Hospital in Guntur, where he passed away.

According to the sources, the boy in his dying declaration informed police officials that Venkateshwar Reddy and a few others torched him.

Meanwhile, Amarnath’s grandfather Reddaiah said that the murder was committed by a youngster who was bullying Amarnath’s sister. The boy who was bullying his sister had been removed by Amarnath. The boy’s wandering around the college where his sister was enrolled had raised questions in his mind.

Police have opened an investigation and started looking for the attackers.
