At least 10 people have been injured after a private bus overturned on National Highway (NH-65) near the suburb of Thotacharla village in the NTR district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday. According to the officials, the bus was on its way from Hyderabad to Vijayanagaram. A total of 40 passengers were on board when the bus overturned hurting 10 people, officials said. The injured passengers have been taken to the hospital for treatment.“An overspeeding bus overturns on NH-65. More than 10 passengers got injuries and they were shifted to the government hospitals of Nandigama and Vijayawada. The bus was heading towards Vijayanagaram from Hyderabad. Assistive measures were taken”, said Janardan Naidu, Nandigama ACP.Meanwhile, according to the official a case has been registered in the case and a probe is underway.More details awaited.
