Ahmedabad: 9 killed in an accident near Iskcon Temple flyover

At least nine people have been killed in the accident that took place on Sarkhej-Gandhinagar (SG) highway flyover near Iskcon Temple in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad on Thursday morning.

According to the reports, the accident occurred at around 1 am on Thursday. The medical officer, Kripa Patel at the spot informed that “12 people were brought to the hospital out of which 9 were declared dead.”

DCP Traffic West Nita Desai says, “Last night a Jaguar car killed 9 people and injured 10-11 people. The driver has been admitted to hospital and as per doctor’s advice, we will arrest him.” Meanwhile, the injured are being treated at the Sola Civil Hospital.
