At least 10 people have killed and 3 got injured after mini-truck rams into stationary vehicle in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad district. The incident occurred near Bagodara village on Rajkot-Ahmedabad Highway.

According to the sources, the incident happened when a group of people was returning from Chotila, Surendernagar district to Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad district Superintendent of Police, Amit Vasava informed that the deceased includes five women, three children and two men.

The preliminary investigation says that the truck was overloaded with goods and driver could not control the vehicle on the road, which lead to severe accident. The district police have started the investigation.

Meanwhile, the chief minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Singh Baghel have expressed his condolences to the victims.
