On Tuesday, a motion of no-confidence in Moga Congress mayor Nitika Bhalla was approved, opening the way for the AAP to choose a new mayor for the city. The state of Punjab will soon have a new AAP Mayor following their historic victory in the municipal elections in Moga.
Taking it to Twitter, the senior AAP leader and Member of Parliament, Raghav Chadha announced, “Yet another significant shift in support for the Aam Aadmi Party, this time in Moga. With 42 out of 50 councillors pledging their support to the AAP after a no-confidence motion against the mayor, it indeed indicates a growing faith in AAP’s vision for Punjab.”
