In Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, a vehicle tumbled down a steep valley on Wednesday, killing at least six people and injuring many more. The van was carrying 10 employees of the Dangduru Power Project when the accident happened close to the Dangduru Dam site, according to the reports.
According to the officials, the rescue efforts were underway. Kishtwar Police confirmed the accident, stating that “a vehicle fell down the valley, and the injured were shifted to a hospital.” The incident took place close to the Line of Actual Control (LoC) in the Keri sector.
Dr Devansh Yadav, DC Kishtwar, and Union Minister Jitendra Singh also spoke about the accident and the fact that every assistance was being given.
