Indramani Tripathi has taken strict action against five employees for poor sanitation in Lohia Park. She is the Vice Chairman of the Lucknow Development Authority. During a surprise inspection at 6 am, garbage was scattered throughout the park. It had a pungent smell and created problems for the residents. Garbage spreads in park The garbage includes harmful materials like polythene, empty water bottles, and a pile of dirt. In some areas, it has been giving the impression that the park had not been cleaned for many days. It makes it difficult for the residents, especially kids, as they cant play in the park. Inspection done by Vice Chairman Following the inspection, the Vice Chairman suspended five employees. These officers, including the supervisor, gave an adverse entry to Assistant Horticulture Officer Mohammad Imran. The suspended employees are Supervisor Shashikant Gupta, mate Vijay Bahadur Patel, sweeper Champa Devi, Raj Kishore Hela, and Rajkumar Kanojia from the Special Cell.Instructions given to clean the park Dr. Ashish Kumar, Manager (Administration) of the memorial committee, confirmed the Vice Chairmans surprise inspection and the subsequent actions. In addition to the suspensions, the Vice Chairman also gave instructions for the cleaning system of the park to be rectified within three days. This will prevent the spreading of infectious diseases and other diseases like malaria, which mosquitoes transmit. Hence, the authorities must look after the park and quickly remove the garbage. Assistant Engineer Ajay Goyal was directed to conduct a survey of the entire park and repair any broken or uprooted stones.Additionally, the Vice Chairman instructed that parking should be made operational by tendering.
