The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported an earthquake registering 4.5 on the Richter scale in Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh, on Monday. The earthquake occurred at 08:15 am at a depth of 14 kilometres. The earthquake occurred at coordinates 27.05° latitude and 97.04° longitude, approximately 86 km southeast of Changlang, according to the NCS. In a separate occurrence, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck Manipurs Shirui village on May 20.
