20-year-old stabbed to death in Delhi’s Sangam Vihar, 8 minors apprehended 

A terrifying incident has been reported from Delhi’s Sangam Vihar, where a 20-year-old man has been stabbed to death. According to the information, the police have arrested 8 minors in connection with the murder that happened on Saturday.

Police officials revealed that they received a PCR call on Sangam Vihar Police Station on Saturday at around 7.30 PM that a resident of Sangam Vihar, has been admitted to Majidia Hospital near Tughlakabad in critical condition. The victim has been identified as Dilshad, who was stabbed to injuries.

What did police say?

Soon after receiving the call, a police team reached Majidia Hospital and found the injured in the critical condition with multiple stab injuries all over his body. The officials also informed that victim was not in condition to give statement, later he was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital.

According to the information, a case has been registered under sections 307/34 of IPC and an investigation was initiated. Prime facie, past rivalry led to the alleged murder of the deceased, as per police.

“During the investigation of the case, the scene of the crime was inspected by the crime team, and the DVR (digital video recorder) capturing the scene of the crime was seized. The weapon of offence (knife) has been recovered and eight persons seen in the CCTV footage have been apprehended. All are minors. The injured succumbed to his injuries,” said a statement from the police.
