On Sunday, 20 IPS officers, including the captains of 5 districts, were transferred to Uttar Pradesh. Among the significant changes, Prabhakar Chowdhary, posted in 11th Corps PAC Sitapur, has been made the SSP of Bareilly, while Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia has been appointed as DIG of Varanasi. Baghpat SP Neeraj Jadaun has been removed from Bijnor, and Ashish Srivastava has been removed from Basti district. Gopal Krishna Chowdhary has been appointed as the new SP of Basti.

8 IPS officers transferred on Saturday night

On Saturday night, 8 IPS officers were transferred to UP, including Praveen Kumar, who was the IG Range Meerut for a long time. He has been posted as the IG Range Ayodhya. Joint CP Piyush Mordia appointed the ADG Zone Lucknow, and Deepak Kumar appointed the IG Range Agra.

IPS Piyush Mordia prioritises public work and honest policing

IPS Piyush Mordia, who has been posted as the ADG Zone Lucknow, was previously the Joint CP Law and Order in the Lucknow Police Commissionerate for over two years. He has worked in various districts, including Aligarh and Noida in UP. He has given priority to public work, their satisfaction, and honest policing. Mordia has emphasised the importance of SHOs listening to complainants and treating them well.

Deepak Kumar: An experienced IPS officer

Deepak Kumar, appointed as the IG Range Agra, has been entrusted with significant responsibilities in the field for a long time. He has previously served as the DIG of Chitrakoot Dham Range and has also been posted as the SSP/DIG of Ayodhya. He has worked in sensitive districts like Muzaffarnagar and Meerut, where he has performed his duties exceptionally well.

IPS Praveen Kumar appointed as IG of Ayodhya range

IPS Praveen Kumar, who belongs to the 2001 batch, has been appointed as the IG of the Ayodhya range. He was previously the IG of Meerut range and served as the SSP of Lucknow and DIG Law and Order in UP Police. Kumar has also held the post of SSP in Muzaffarnagar and Noida. He is currently listed in the deputation panel of the Central Government.
