In another shocking case of teen rape a 12-year-old minor was allegedly raped in the national capital Delhis Mayur Vihar, the police said on Saturday. They also added that the accused was arrested from Khora in Uttar Pradesh.According to a police official, the Mayur Vihar police received information from the Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Hospital in Delhi regarding the sexual abuse of a minor girl on Wednesday.Mayur Vihar 12-year-old minor rape caseThe victims father told police that a man residing in the same village as them raped the young girl, the officer said.The accused has been apprehended from Khora in UP and is identified as Ibran (19), the police said. According to the police reports, Ibran runs a tailor shop.The police have registered a case under sections 376 (rape) of the IPC and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, as per the officers statement.Further investigations are underway, police said.(With agency inputs)
