The left-handed explosive batter, David Warner became the fastest batsman to complete 1,000 runs in ODI World Cup during the match between India and Australia in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Sunday.
David Warner reached the milestone in just 19 innings to break the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and AB de Villiers’ joint record of scoring 1,000 runs in 20 innings.

Walking out to open the innings with Mitchell Marsh, David Warner completed the feat in the seventh over of the innings, with a straight drive to get a boundary off Hardik Pandya’s over. Warner has struck four hundred and three fifties in World Cups so far.
